The Prime Minister is monitoring developments in the implementation of the "Ras El Hekma" project on the North Coast

Prime Minister Dr Mustafa Madbouly today followed up, in a meeting held for that purpose, on the latest progress on the Ras Al-Hikma project on the North Coast. The meeting was attended by Engineer Randa Al-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities; His Excellency Mr Jassim Al Zabi, Head of Finance Department – Abu Dhabi,

Managing Director and CEO of Al Emad Holding; Dr Walid Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities; His Excellency Mr Mohammed Al Sharfa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport – Abu Dhabi and board member of Al Emad Holding; His Excellency Mr Abdullah Al Saahi, Managing Director of Madan Holding; and a number of officials.

At the start of the meeting, Dr Madbouly welcomed the representatives of the companies participating in the implementation of the Ras Al-Hikma project and extended his congratulations to them on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Prime Minister stressed that the meeting was held in line with the commitment to regularly monitor the latest developments in the implementation of this developmental project, underlining the importance of ensuring progress is made according to the scheduled timelines, as it represents a new development hub in the promising North Coast region.

Mr Jassim Al Zabi outlined the main infrastructure works currently underway on the project, noting that thousands of workers are presently deployed across the various site locations. He also described progress across the project’s different components, including the industrial zone, hotel projects and service facilities.

The Managing Director and CEO of Al Emad Holding reviewed the master plan and components of the Ras Al-Hikma project, pointing to the built-up areas allocated for residential use, hotel rooms, commercial zones, restaurants and various recreational activities, as well as the potential to capitalise on the area’s promising attributes
